Project Description:

Buildings with specific functions and medical have a privacy in design and implementation. The most important challenge of these buildings is the plan proper organizing and positioning of the standard spaces next to each other, so that there is no problem in terms of size, scale and access of spaces. Therefore, in these projects, the solving of performance problems is more important than that of exterior buildings events. Projects usually have predefined volumes and definite facades.

The challenge we faced in the project was a new definition of the volume (form) of medical buildings. A project that can be connected to the urban in addition to solving internal functions has a different form towards medical buildings and provide spaces for dialogue. As such, the most important issue of the project after solving the performance was to create semi - public spaces that could be connected to the internal spaces, as well as a dialogue with the urban. in order to respond to the challenge posed in the project, the layout of the boxes is used. In this way, several boxes were seen on each floor and according to its internal functions. In regard to the arrangement and positioning of these boxes, the different floors were formed, and the spaces between the boxes on each floor were considered as semi - public space. Each of these boxes is a defining feature of its internal function for example, on the ground floor of the clinic room, a separate box and pharmacy and medical facilities were also seen as separate boxes. The positioning of these boxes formed on the basis of urban's criteria, as well as the perception of the surroundings and the context in which public spaces can be established in the floors. The boxes were considered as a distinct and consistent pattern for proper communication, which, with regard to the environment and internal spaces, their proportions and openers are changing. The outer walls of the boxes were covered with material and similar context, and only in one direction the glass facade was considered. These boxes define their own internal function in the floors and connect to the surrounding environment with the continuous glass - walled environment in which they exist. The space between the boxes is also the creation of semi - public spaces, which is associated with the within of the project and the surrounding environment. Eventually, we arrived at a project that, in addition to solving the performance issues that were critical in the medical sector, a qualitative change was created in the exterior of the building and put its project in a dialogue with the urban and its surroundings.
