Typically, residential apartments with tip plans in the floors have a normal and similar facade. In order to create movement and dynamics in the facade, we should design the exterior wall with attention to interior plans and internal events of the building,
In this project, we tried to create the dynamics and movement in the facade through moving the terraces and changing their dimensions. For this purpose, the strategy of voide was chosen on the facade, which using a continuous gap that covers the top to bottom of the building, the facade is divided into two parts.
This continuous movement was formed by moving the terraces in the floors. One part of the facade was assigned to the kitchen space, in which it openings were designed according to interior space, and other part of the facade was assigned to the living room space, in which its openings were formed bigger.
Finally, the brick material was chosen for the overall integrity of the facade, and inside of the formed gap was colored as turquoise blue so it could have a relationship with past and historical background of Iranian buildings.
