Project Description:
The Sepid residential building is designed in five floors on a pilot. In the functional organization of the project, the living space and the terrace were formed towards the outer wall which is facing the street. The main issue in designing the facade was the creation of diversity and the avoidance of uniformity in the creation of openings. Due to project constraints in creating console or cavity, the facade turned into a two dimensional flat surface.
To create depth in the facade and benefit from the third dimension in the outer wall, we used crooked cuts up to the window. These cuts created depth in the facade by creating the game of light and shadow, and also formed a space for placing flowers and greenery in the project.
By placing vertical elements, while creating dynamics in the facade, the classification of openings was formed in such a way that light input to the project was well-directed, and the light could be used simultaneously in both direct and indirect ways.
Eventually, in this project, we achieved a diverse visual organization in detail and an overall continuous volume that in addition to meeting the needs of the project, had certain features, such as three-dimensional facade and the appearance of greenery in the facade.
