Project Description
The commercial-residential building of Marz is located in Baneh, Kurdistan Province, in a cold and mountainous climate. The project plan was defined as a multi-functional building in which the underground space was allocated to a service unit (gym and parking), ground floor and its semi-floor to a commercial function and the floor on the ground to a residential unit.
The most important issue that should be considered in the project was the variety of functions and their coordination in the final volume. The question that was posed at the beginning of the project design was: should the forms represent the function and internal nature of the space
